Firefighters Battle Huge Blaze in Maghdousheh

The civil defense teams are struggling to extinguish a huge fire that erupted olive groves and fields between the southern towns of Zeta and Maghdousheh.
Voice of Lebanon radio (100.5) reported that the civil defense teams are calling for helicopters' support to dump water onto the raging fire as the height of the flames exceeded 50 meters.
The radio station pointed out that Internal Security Forces began evacuating residents of the area and students from their schools.
