President Michel Suleiman is expected to head to Saudi Arabia on Monday to hold talks with King Abdullah and senior officials

According to As Safir newspaper published on Thursday, the President will tackle with Saudi officials the latest developments locally, in Syria and the region, in addition to the bilateral ties between the two countries.

The long awaited visit comes a month after it was postponed for unclear reasons.

The daily reported that Suleiman will visit Kuwait on November 18 at the head of an official delegation to attend the Arab-African Union.

Suleiman was scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia at the end of September.

The president received a telephone call from Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awadh Asiri and later Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, who informed him that Suleiman is always welcome in the kingdom and who apologized for the cancellation of the previous trip.

That will be an interesting meeting ... Suleiman has been able to balance his US and KSA loyalties as their policies were in sinc.

No more. The KSA has broken away from the US and is trying to sabotage any talks about Syria that involve Assad ...

Now the question is; Who will Suleiman side with? His US/Interpol partners or the Wahhabi KSA inundating Syria with terrorists?

Clearly Suleiman will be all ears in Riyadh ... But will he divulge his views? I'm not so sure He really wants any meeting at all.
