One Person Injured in Shooting in Tripoli

Unknown assailants opened fire on Monday at an Alawite resident of the northern city of Tripoli reported the National News Agency.
It said that Youssef Khalil was wounded in his legs in the Bab al-Hadeed area in Tripoli.
He has since been transferred to Saydet Zgharta Hospital for treatment.
Five days ago and in a similar incident, Khodr Abbas from Tripoli's majority Alawite Jabal Mohsen neighborhood was also wounded in a shooting in the city.
Over 20 of such incidents against Jabal Mohsen residents have been reported in a reflection of the impact the Syrian crisis is having on Lebanon.
The divisions in Syria are being reflected in the city as Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen neighborhood supports the country's ruling regime while the Bab al-Tabbaneh neighborhood backs the Syrian rebels.
The tensions between the rival neighborhoods have erupted into armed clashes between the two sides on numerous occasions since the Syrian uprising began in March 2011.

Well some guys blew 2 mosques and killed many people.. And some guys are accused of this and preaching tripoli residents from jabal mohsen and going on tvs... What would u expect, when u dismentle states institutions only shit can hwappen...

Yes maybe we can send hezboz there to clear it from takfiri.. Or some assad airplanes to bomb tabaneh.. The solution is to rebuiled a state with legitim armed forces not hezb or saraya el moukawameh.. (Resistance brigades...)

Sad truth is Jabal muhsin is full of za3ran.
And it's residence pretty much have immunity for any petty or major crime committed.
How do you know this dude was shot for no reason ? Do you know his past ? Do you know what he did a week ago ?
Lack of law brings about vigilantism .
Each neighborhood now sees local armed groups as it's only protection.
People in Lebanon don't even throw rubbish in the bin , what do you expect ?
Alhamdullilah I live in Australia and will only go back to Lebanon once there are no more Lebos there.
