The meeting will focus on three main principles, the humanitarian aid to help alleviate the situation for displaced Syrians in Lebanon, the capabilities of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Economic aid.
The support group was inaugurated in New York in September 2013,on the sidelines of the 68th session of the General Assembly. It undertook to work together to mobilize support for the sovereignty and state institutions of Lebanon and to highlight and promote efforts to assist the country where it was most affected by the Syrian crisis, including in respect of strengthening the capacity of the Lebanese Armed Forces, assistance to refugees, and structural and financial support to the government.
The number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon had surged to around 900,000 according to the United Nations' refugee agency (UNHCR) as Lebanon has been facing difficulties in coping with their burden.
Look, Mr. President, if the French want to ad too much garlic into the sauce, just be firm, drop the whole issue, go to Brazil, they have weapons as good there and we Lebanese have a powerful lobby there too, don't negotiate anymore, just do the right thing, take your plane, go to Brazil, in Brazil they love you too and Brazil does not kiss arse for all I know. Either we become a real state, fully capable of standing in the face of Israeli aggression, and in the face of Syrian aggression, and in the face of Hezbollah hegemony or we don't, that simple. I know what weapons we need, you know what weapons we need, so if the French feel that Israel is more precious to them, then yi rou70 wou yenderboh fiyoun. We can buy what we need from wherever we want. Enough of beating around the bush, the issue of our weapons has become a real joke, and for years now. Go to Brazil sir, go!!
