Three hand grenades were hurled in Tripoli on Thursday, prompting the army to stage patrols in the restive northern city.
“Unknown assailants tossed two hand grenades in the Baal al-Darawish area in Bab al-Tabbaneh as several volleys of machinegun fire were heard in the region,” state-run National News Agency reported.
“Army units immediately rushed to the scene and started staging patrols along Syria Street and its surroundings,” NNA said.
OTV said the gunshots were fired during a dispute between members of two families in Bab al-Tabbaneh's al-Bazar street.
Separately, “an unidentified man threw a hand grenade in (Tripoli's) el-Mina near the railway, causing no casualties or damage.”
A family seated at a table where half-baked potatoes are served means no one will eat and thus no one will feel satiated. In the same sense, when we provide half-baked solution, we shall get no solutions, either we go for full scale solutions, or stop putting the lives of our soldiers under unnecessary risks.
