Brazilians with Cocaine in Their Stomachs Held at Beirut Airport

Customs authorities at Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport on Monday foiled an attempt to smuggle into the country a quantity of cocaine that came from Brazil via Ethiopia, state-run National News Agency reported.
“Three Brazilians arrived from Brazil via Ethiopia. Two of them had quantities of cocaine in their stomachs while the third hid a cocaine stash in his double-bottomed suitcase,” NNA said.
“The quantity of cocaine they tried to smuggle has been estimated to weigh around eight kilograms while one of the men who swallowed the cocaine was admitted into hospital after he suffered medical complications,” the agency added.
The three men were referred to the Central Anti-Drug Bureau for further investigations.
On Tuesday, a 25-year-old Brazilian man was also arrested for trying to smuggle 6.1 kilograms of cocaine into Lebanon.

If it is any comfort to any one mine were also deleted last night. All I said to the 2 antagonists is reminding them that this forum is for every one to express their views and be respected and act civilized and refrain from using foul language. Not only my comment was deleted but someone sent me a virus which my system intercepted....

Mine too Coolmec, at times the mods here make me wonder. A crazed person was insulting everyone, left right and center, and what's even more shameful, some people were even thumbing him up, yet the mods left him for 3 days without any hindrance. What is even more strange is that good posts, posts that carry lots of essence are removed for God knows what reason. I now can see that the mod team is away before the weekend starts and are late to return back to their work. Some unscrupulous and shameful people now know this, thus they would barge in a distort the very fabric of this forum, knowing that their posts will remain for at least 3 days.

And may I suggest that the mods stop anyone known to use multiple accounts, and is detected at using them to give that false impression of thumbs down or up. Some unscrupulous people here who maintain such, will use their multiplicity to thumb down other honest posters for the simple fact that they just don't like the people posting, nothing in fact to do with the posts, but the persons posting. I have seen good forum die because of such people, maybe Naharnet would take heed from well meaning nudges.
