Food Poisoning Cases Suspected in Baalbek

Around 40 people were hospitalized in eastern Lebanon on suspicion of suffering from food poisoning after eating at a restaurant, the state-run National News Agency reported on Monday.

The cases were registered in the district of Baalbek, NNA said.

Dr. Mohammed al-Hajj sent samples from the food they ate to labs to confirm whether the poisoning came from the restaurant or was the result of polluted water, the agency added.

LBCI reported that the Baalbek governor ordered the closure of the restaurant.

Lebanon has been rocked with scandals on expired food, often the result of the authorities' failure to inspect the quality of all products.

But police have in the past closed several warehouses selling tainted food.

Thanks for assuming Roar, now please boost your ego down in Australia and make yourself feel somewhat significant. Come to Lebanon :) PS I don't like them either, so grow up.

Loyalty to the LAF only, but in your case should I also be loyal to your Australian military too? I mean that's your logic right...

Name me one time I ever supported any of them. Secondly, I equally get an HA and ISIS. Thirdly, grow up.
