Shelling from Syrian Territories Targets al-Kabir River, Border Villages
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةCalm prevailed on Saturday after several rockets from Syrian territories targeted overnight the al-Kabir River, which separates Syria and Lebanon, and nearby towns.
The shelling targeted the town of Omar al-Beykat, Qashlaq and the outskirts of Hekr Jenine in the northern Akkar district, the state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday.
The news agency also said that the highway that links al-Abboudiyeh with Monjez came under gunfire.
Only material damage was caused.
The assault comes a day after a man was injured when several border towns in the northern Akkar district came under gunfire from the Syrian side of the border.
Several border areas in the North have been frequently struck by cross-border fire and shelling.

sure never one comment from the hezbi lovers of this site when akkar is shelled... no wonder there is no hezbi positions there so why should they care for lebanese living there? and we know who shells akkar, but here it is not a violation of sovereiggnty from a foreign country!
let them send Malawi and co to defend the Lebanese Syrian borders and shoot at the Syrian not the Lebanese army
