Salam Continues Gulf Tour, Heads to UAE on Monday
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةPrime Minister Tammam Salam is expected to travel to the United Arab Emirates on Monday to continue a tour he kicked off recently to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
A ministerial source described in comments published in al-Liwaa newspaper on Tuesday the ties between Lebanon and UAE as “strong.”
The source revealed that the two-day visit will kick off in Abu Dhabi where he will meet with the Lebanese expats.
Salam will also meet in Dubai his counterpart and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum.
The PM had visited recently Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.
The latest visit was to Doha where Salam headed a delegation to tackle the abduction of the soldiers and policemen from the northeastern border town of Arsal in August.

G.K.
Mr. Salam, I am one who wishes you all the best, because you're a good man, a decent man known for honesty and for being up-straight. It is sad to note that even though you are working as hard any decent person could to bring this country of ours back on the rails, you are faced with serious criminals whose only aim is to derail this country of ours and render it void of all its constitutional pillars. I also remember how they kept the post of PM vacant for months on end, just as they are now doing to the post of President of the Republic. Will they ever do the same for the presidency of the parliament? keep it up Mr. PM, we're proud of you.
