4 Suspects, Including Cleric, Arrested for Working for ISIL

Four people were arrested on Friday for recruiting members to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, reported the National News Agency.

It said that State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr charged the four suspects, who include a Muslim cleric, with recruiting people to join the jihadist group.

A number of people have in recent months been charged with belonging to ISIL and other extremist organizations.

The army and security forces have been cracking down on suspects wanted on terrorism charges.

These efforts were intensified in light of clashes in August between the army and Islamist gunmen who overran the northeastern border town of Arsal.

anonyme sometimes you need to look a bit further then just the tip of your nose, in that case i was not talking as a lebano-lebanese centered on my selfish interest, i was talking as an arab, and talking about the bigger picture.

arab countries in general and saudi in particular, have sacrificed themselves and their own interests to those of foreign powers. the last time they tried to use their strongest negotiation lever was in 1973 (the oil embargo).
the saudi king who was behind it got assassinated exactly a year after the end of the embargo.
he was the last saudi king to have some pride, the last one who acted and talked as an arab, not a slave.

as for the specific case of oil price, i explained to you in the original conversation why this was a multi-billion free gift to the US and the US industry.

they could end the misery of palestinians in a few months, if they declared another embargo, but they're too docile pets to dare think about it.

sorry anonyme i made a mistake, i thought it was possible to have an intelligent discussion with you but once again i see you're childish. you completely dodge the point i raised (saudi serving US interests before their own) and trying to attack me instead of using your head.

if saudi wasnt serving the US and really serving the arab cause with all their money they wouldnt be funding terrorists. the trillions they would have saved this could have been put to smarter use, development projects across the entire middle east for instance, would have had a thousand time more positive impact than cheaper gas could ever have.

now i'll leave you to your rants, since you care more about sticking labels on me than being an intelligent person, and enjoy the few bucks you save on gas while our entire region goes to s#!t because of people like you who are more desperate to hate each other than understand what our interest really is.
