A young man succumbed to his wounds Saturday after being severely wounded in a personal dispute that took place Friday in Faraya.

The state-run National News Agency identified the victim as 27-year-old Yves Naufal.

The NNA stated that Yves and “his friend, Saba Nader, were having a night out in one of Faraya's Oyoun al-Siman restaurants where a dispute between him and two other men took place over a girl who was in the same restaurant.”

“The dispute ended quickly and Naufal left the place,” it added.

But the two other men followed Naufal and his friend to a “Total” gas station on Oyoun al-Siman’s road, shooting at them from a pistol and a Kalashnikov assault rifle, the agency said.

Naufal was transferred in a critical condition to the Saint George Hospital in Ajaltoun, while Nader was transferred to the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Beirut, NNA added.

How come the Media doesn't reveal the names of the politicians protecting the murderers?
I heard no arrest warrant was issued yet despite knowing the names of the assasins! We should end this by leading a peaceful revolution against militias, gangs and corruption. Do not underestimate the power of a social media scandal as well as mass population movements against whoever is protecting criminals... #justiceforYves

Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum....Latin for "if you want peace then prepare for war".

Yves is dead. He was murdered in cold blood by a bunch of Hobos.

In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy it is necessary to act outside the law-to pursue…natural justice. What I am saying is not vengeance. or remotely closely to it. Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response.

This subhuman feces who has murdered Yves should not be judged. He should be PUNISHED.

Four...The murderer Charbel should be called anything but Charbel. I so hate it when parents who are bad to the core call their kids after saints.

Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...Allah la ywaf2ou...w yattim wladou w thakil immou...

Is there any proof he is supporter of the CPL as stated in the article? Does anyone know him?
We should make sure that is the case and not rest until he is arrested properly, whoever is protecting him!

In civilized and democratic societies it is highly unusual to mix the people involved in such tragedies political affiliations. If its a racist motive, perhaps, but here it seems like a silly quarrel between drunk people about a girl.
Of course it might turn political if anyone with influence prevents the police of doing its work. Its far too early to tell if that is the case here. I am sure that this guy will hand himself over to the police fairly quickly.

...flamethrower--
unlike people like you, I'm into conversing with the opposite side, which explains my presence on nakharnet.

... and it clearly shows.

Has anybody noticed that Flamitto is not defending or saying much about this thug who's on the loose...he may know something that we all don't.

Shame shame flamitto, show some respect and speak your mind no matter which party you belong to...even if both of you support the same side !
