The rivalry between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces has led to a lack of quorum in 16 electoral sessions in parliament, amid a boycott by the MPs of FPM chief MP Michel Aoun and Hizbullah.
The presidential seat has been vacant since president Michel Suleiman's term ended on May 25.
What state? Does the Patriarch Rahi means in this case the current sectarian inept regime that has been in place since the creation of modern Lebanon by the French imperialism in late 1920 that brought with it the so called National Pact of 1943 and later the Taef accords of 1989.
unfortunalety almost all our so called politicians are muppets for other countries
to have real politicians for the people to the people is a good election law based on proportionality
and let the people vote for the president
122 mp can be subdued by force or money but 4 million people cannot be subdued by force neither money
god bless democracy and liberty
Aoun wants to destroy the state institution and establishment, he told his officers as much before he started his destructive wars back in 1988.
