Army Detains 10 Syrians in Majdal Anjar

The army detained several Syrian nationals on Thursday in the Bekaa Valley town of Majdal Anjar, media reports said.

Ten Syrians were arrested in a raid carried out by the army in the town.

A quantity of arms and ammunition in their possession was confiscated.

The Lebanese security forces began implementing recently strict security measures and kicked off security plans across the country to reduce crime rate and clamp down on terrorists.

Police and the army has been carrying out large-scale raids and managed to arrest scores of offenders.
