A clash linked to the ongoing municipal polls in the North and Akkar districts erupted in the town of Bourj al-Arab, reported the National News Agency on Sunday.
It said that shots were fired during the dispute.
The security forces soon intervened to contain it.
The details of the quarrel were not disclosed.
The North and Akkar districts are witnessing the fourth and final round of the municipal and mayoral polls.
