Army Denies Coronavirus Cases

The Lebanese Army assured on Friday that its troops are in good health denying rumors of coronavirus cases among its ranks.

In an official statement, the army said that precautionary measures are taken to prevent infections with the COVID-19 disease, noting that no cases were reported among its troops.

The army urged media outlets to be accurate when reporting about the military institution.

Lebanon's coronavirus cases rose to 16 on Thursday.
