The International Committee of the Red Cross on Thursday said its humanitarian operations risked serious disruption as a fire at Beirut port hit a warehouse containing its food aid.

"The warehouse on fire is where ICRC stocks thousands (of) food parcels and 0.5 million" liters of oil, ICRC regional director Fabrizio Carboni said.

"Our humanitarian operation risks to be seriously disrupted," he added.

0.5 million liters of oil.... why not just say 500 000.

Who's reponsible for burning the Red Cross food aid? which minister? I want to go to bed tonight knowing which minister will be spending the rest of his life in a prison cell.

Presumably, it seems that somebody didn't get his pockets filled with money when these goods reached the port.
