The Lebanese General Security handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross a Palestinian national who had swum to Lebanon in September 2011, reported the National News Agency on Thursday.

Ahmed Jamal Mahmoud al-Daaif will then be handed over to Israel.

The pan-Arab daily al-Hayat reported on Thursday that Daaif had entered Lebanon by mistake as he was practicing diving at a beach in northern Israel.

Man, have some pride. The israeli/palestinian conflict ruined our country. For me that means that I look down at both those countries because they cant keep their problems for themselves and we will hopefully be back one day to the sadness of all our peace loving neigbours.

w 3shtm wa 3asha el watan!

Ulpianus, the country is one and the same, its not two countries, its one country (palestine) that is occupied and split in two diffirent occupations. And it is not only an "israeli"-palestinian conflict, its an "israeli"-levantine and "israeli"-arab and "israeli"-muslim and "israeli"-justice conflict as well. Look down on zionism, zionists and bad levantine/ arab/ muslim rulers!

Benzona: come be my guest.
Only thing is that you can't walk in the streets with a name like yours, as when you cross the border they will ask you about your parents occupation, so what will you tell them then ? .

What about the rest? We have plenty

muslim84:
The Israeli territory occupies 0.14% of all Arabian territories.
Its like a flee spot on the wall comparing to all Arabian territories.
And this tiny state is also too much for the Arabs to accept.
So they kill each other and hate each other and they blow up each other.
They are unemployed, having corrupted governments, poverty, ignorance , lack of education and poor social benefits.
And all this: 1.2 billion Arabs suffer only because of Israel the tiny country with 7 million people.
Shame on you Israel.

Why not give Jerusalem to the Swiss Guards to administer so the Filistinis and Israelis can give it a rest for a few decades?

Wilypagan:
The UN resolution of 29th Nov.1947 declared Jerusalem as an international to be control by international forces.
The Jews accepted, guess who refused.
And they attacked with 7 armies the young born state, killed more than 6000 people and can't dream what would have happen to those who left alive in case the young state would have lost.
So for over 65 years those who started war still cry for their defeat and wouldn't accept the fact that Israel will remain there as an equal inhabitant of the Mediterranean if Arabs want it or not.
The choice is in Arab's hands, as we can all live in peace and prosperity or living on the sword continue killing each other for generations to come.
The loss is of both parties as our children deserve to have peace.

danny b the problem with u is that u insist on dichotomising between arabs n jews. let me tell u the conflict with israel (for us at least, us non-zionists) is about human rights. in 1947 until now, the zionist entity has been engaged in a system of ethnic cleansing of the indigenous people of palestine. u can find this in human rights reports from the UN, official docs of the british govt, and israeli reknown historians like avi shlaim and benny morris. so pls stop putting us all as "the arabs" because it is racist and orientalist. whether arabs are all the same or all different or mixed in some weird way, (in which i couldn't care less and as a lebanese feel that lebanese people r stupid by really caring about all that) the zionist entity has systematically discriminated and contributed to the wiping out of an indigenous people. then danny b u speak of our corruption and dictators. who gave them power? who???

Default-user-icon r (Guest) 30 March 2012, 15:33

most arab dictators hav been backed by israel s main sponsor, the US. (ur such a hypocrite btw for omitting this fact) Mubarak is so loved by the zionist regime. the only dictator u don't support or the US doesn't support (openly at least) is bashar alassad. but of course, at some point the zionist entity dd hav under the table deals with him, thus the silence at the golan since 1973. most the poverty ignorance unemployment comes from the corruption of our societies, which comes from ur allies as i have demonstrated. so pls cut out the BS.

This so-called Palestinian lives in a mixed Jewish-Arab village named Ya'ara The Arab portion was relocated there because they cooperated with the Jews in 1948. I doubt that he would call himself Palestinian.
