March 14 Source: Jumblat Most at Risk after Geagea

Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblat could be the second on the list of potential targets against Lebanese politicians following the assassination attempt on Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea, a high-ranking March 14 source said Wednesday.

The source told al-Joumhouria daily that Jumblat is most at risk after Geagea following a decision to launch “a campaign of intimidation and physical elimination” against the politicians.

Such a campaign is aimed at guaranteeing a success for the Hizbullah-led March 8 sources in the 2013 parliamentary elections, the sources said without accusing any party of involvement in Geagea’s murder attempt.

Current studies show that the March 14 forces will prevail in the polls, which led to the decision to eliminate certain personalities, they added.

Geagea escaped sniper fire unharmed last Wednesday as he was walking in the garden of his fortified residence in Maarab.

The source hinted that the PSP chief brought himself back under the gaze of assassins after he began to criticize the Syrian regime over its violent crackdown on protestors since March last year.

But Jumblat is hoping that he stays away from the danger of assassinations through keeping contact with Hizbullah and vowing not to force the collapse of the current parliamentary majority and Premier Najib Miqati’s cabinet.

u gotta love March 14 sources!
1- Jumblat is now part of the majority, how will the government survive if he's dead?
2- Hizbullah have 2 ministers in the government so how is he leading it?
3- even LF knows that the alleged geagea assassination is nothing but a bad Bollywood scenario

Controls the FPM? Keep on listening to your CNN propaganda ;) Have you let them borrow your crystal ball?
He needs no proof. Since you have no proof that Hezbollah did it, he needs no proof that the LF did it.

They have reading problems apparently in Kesrwen:
1- He is a target because he is attacking the Syrian regime and even asked the Syrian druze to revolt.
2- It is in Hezbollah's interest to protect him to preserve the government.
3- This is an orange assumption.
Last but not least, eventhough they are allied, the Syrian regime and hezbollah may have conflicting priorities on certain issues.
Da!

Lebanon has enough filth already. So however the two scum bags Geagea and Jumblat get terminated (natural causes or otherwise), that day will be a glorious day that will mark the beginning of the reduction of Lebanon by two embodiments of filth. And so the less filth, the better of for all decent Lebanese.

the syrian regime and hizbushaitan are cornered
- the syrian regime has his internal problems
- hizbushaitan has the imminent israeli threat of a devastating war and wants to silence all opposition ahead of this war.
so in their twisted mind they think that if they kill Geagea and Joumblat, they could take over the country and be able to face israel better.
you would think that they should have learned something since the Hariri assassination! they are in for major surprise :)
