A video was released on Thursday showing the murder of Elie Numan who was killed in Sid al-Bauchrieh on Wednesday.

Numan, his brother Bernard, and a Syrian worker Tony Nehme were the victims of a shooting on Wednesday afternoon.

“Four individuals – B. Nehme, E. Semaan, M. Tantawi (Egyptian national) and A. Nammour -- got out of a Grand Cherokee SUV and entered a shop belonging to the Numan family and a dispute ensued over the repair of a motorcycle belonging to Tantawi. The dispute then erupted into a fistfight before Nehme opened fire at the shop’s owners,” the National News Agency said on Wednesday.

The shooting was a result of a personal dispute at a motorcycle repair shop, it added.

Voice of Lebanon radio reported on Thursday that the shooters have all been arrested.

Later on Wednesday, youths blocked the Dekwaneh road with burning tires in protest against Numan’s death.

They are learning from the tishbee7 tactics of the syrian regime thugs. This is the culture that is being bred.

No, heathens!

Thumb geha 24 May 2012, 16:09

hizbushaitan is the one who prevented Beirut municipality from spreading cameras in the capital for that same purpose.

Thumb geha 24 May 2012, 17:11

anonymetexas... how could we have cameras when Hezbollah only allow their cameras at the airport for example...can you imagine cameras in dahie... :) this is no Geneva, we're in Beirut... but wishful thinking is good...

Missing ulpianus 24 May 2012, 16:34

Patriot. Easy to put cameras in your own shop....

Thumb thepatriot 24 May 2012, 16:41

sure

Thumb dragon2 24 May 2012, 17:21

cameras belong to the airport and the airport belongs to hezbollah,,and hezbollah controls the airport,,,what a twist!!!

Default-user-icon mowaten 2.0 (the improved version) (Guest) 24 May 2012, 18:58

General Security = Hezbollah. General Security = Airport Security. Therefore Hezbollah = Airport Security.

It's a no brainer old chap.

Missing realist 24 May 2012, 19:04

hizbustanis can pass whatever bags they want under the nose of the lebanese customs, i dare you to challenge this, i personaly know of people who do.

Thumb Bandoul 24 May 2012, 20:40

The Party of God aka the "Party of Terror and Intimidation" controls every camera at the airport regardless of whether or not it belongs to them. They control Lebanon and its destiny because they point their illegal weapon at anyone who objects.

Thumb thepatriot 25 May 2012, 10:39

"Hezbollah has installed dozens of its own run cameras all over the airport and closely monitors around the clock offices, corridors, waiting halls, runways, control tower, entrances, exits, stores etc. Meanwhile the airport's security chief, Brigadier General Wafiq Choucair, is loyal to Hezbollah and not to the Lebanese official authorities. In 2008 when the Saniora Lebanese government tried to transfer Choucair to another post, Hezbollah was boldly defiant, and militarily invaded and occupied the Sunni West Beirut and tried but failed to occupy the Druze stronghold of Mt. Lebanon(...)"

This the problem.....everyone and their mother's are armed. A country with this kind of exposure is never going to be stable nor will it survive. No one should be allowed to posses weapons except a legitimate army! A strict defined law should be put in place and fiercely enforced with dire consequences for those who break it!

Thumb lubnan_awalan 24 May 2012, 16:39

Look at those bastards they killed someone I don't wheater there was a political reason behind but you keep trying to make it a political matter -.- So now there is one only solution for Lebanon right now , ther army takes total control of the country and the government. The government is forced to resign ,a state of emergency will be enforced. Every politican is under house-arrest until they agree to start dialogue. And for those people who try to stir strife on the streest they will be stopped by force without mercy !!!!

Thumb Bandoul 24 May 2012, 20:47

What about Hzb el Shaitan, do you think they will obey the Army??? LOL!

@anonymous
your comment this time is not that good, it reminds me of the 60s: the government did not want to issue maps f lebanon because israel would know the locations :)
do you know that all computer security apparatus used around the world and even by hizbushaitan are made in israel and they definately have a back door to their apparatus?
do you know that cisco, huwaei and other switches manufacturesrs have also back doors t their switches?
so let us forget a bit aabout that kind of security risk, and make use of cameras as you said previously.

Thumb Bandoul 24 May 2012, 20:46

@geha, those vendors are required by law enforcement agencies to have these back-doors for lawful intercept and there is constant outrage about the legality of the whole idea.

Thumb geha 24 May 2012, 22:11

bandoul, I beg to differ:
- many countries refuse t install huwaei equipment because of this.
- same goes for Cisco equipment.
but if that is not enough, most proxy servers or firewalls which we install thinking that they make us safe, are in fact an open door to israel.
hizbushaitan crying fowl about their telcommunication network, while all their computers are us made AND CONNECTED THROUGH SWITCHES AND "PROTECTED" by firewalls and proxy servers.
come on israel and the US know every single move they make before they start moving :)

Missing jesuswasaprophet 25 May 2012, 00:46

No geha, not all computers are made in "israel". And as for hezballah, they have thwir own ways of keeping their computers safe when they use them, and they have crypted ways of writing, they dont say hi i am hezballah. And they dont install broadband in the name of hasan nasrallah and other officials. Stop being so scared of "israel". They are not God as they have tried to portray themselves. Almost everything that comes out of their mouth is lies and much of it is directed against arabs to scare them. Their mosad is a stupid intel organization who is good only at one thing (as conformed by cia) and that is making PR for themselves. When they carried out an assasination in dubai, one of them was wearing toy glasses with a fake toy nose, such as those you find in toy store, thats how unproffesional they are. To bad some arabs still think "israel" is allmighty.

If the judge don't sentence all of them to execution by hanging, the judge should be hanged him self. We cannot accept thugs like those running around in our country anymore, regardless whom they are or belong to. Lebanon has to say enough once for all.

Thumb sophia_angle 25 May 2012, 10:37

He should be hanged in front of the shop were the murder took place who ever he is!!!!

Thumb LightLeb 25 May 2012, 11:42

As disturbing this crime is and those thugs should be executed, what was more baffling is why the youth have to block roads and burn tires for the police to react! I mean if my store got robbed, do i call the police or should i pay some kids to burn tires and block the road?

Default-user-icon cedarwings (Guest) 25 May 2012, 14:51

I am disgusted and ashamed to be lebanese when I hear such a crime, and it seems lebanon is still living in the dark ages. People who commit such a crime are primitive uneducated lowlife thugs who can only comunicate with the gun. I would like to see capital punishment back in lebanon.
