Another Turkish Citizen Kidnapped in Lebanon

A Turkish man became the second foreigner to be kidnapped in Lebanon since al-Meqdad clan and another obscure group went on an abduction spree of Syrians and Turkish nationals on Wednesday to pressure the Free Syrian Army in releasing a member of the clan.

The National News Agency said Friday that Abd Basset Orssolane was abducted in the area of Choueifat near the Coca Cola factory.

The assailants stopped a Mercedes truck he was riding and took him to an unknown location on Thursday night, NNA said.

Orssolane is the second Turkish citizen to be abducted in Lebanon after al-Meqdad clan announced that it kidnapped Aidan Toufan on Wednesday.

But the clan’s spokesman Maher al-Meqdad told OTV that the family’s military wing has nothing to do with the abduction of Orssolane.

The family, which holds Turkey responsible for backing the Syrian rebels, has stressed that it would not release the abductees until the FSA sets free Hassan al-Meqdad.

On Thursday, it announced a halt to all of its military operations throughout Lebanon.

But the position of the obscure group calling itself Mukhtar al-Thaqfi Brigade is not clear yet.

This is what happens when our government doesnt take responsibility and punish people that break the law. This is a joke and is already out of everyones hands. Plus, who are these useless people that really have no jobs, nothing to do but kidnap. Did they take a day off, or is this their parttime job? What the hell is goin on?

Ramzy, we all know that the party breaking the law and doing all these abductions is the same party controlling the government... go figure

What goes around comes around. When Wahhabis take ShiaA people as hostages, then it is expected that the ShiaA factions would retaliate. Today, again and as it has been the case in the past 10 ears, some 250 ShiaA were killed by Car Bombs planted by the Wahhabis of Iraq. Please also remember the killings today in Pakistan by Wahhabis who stoped the bus, separated ShiaA from the passangers and killed them execution style.
Violence has to be stopped by both sides.

The only way to stop Hizbollah is to start punishing the Shia community at large for it's silence on the atrocities committed in the name of Mukawama. Let's start by kicking out the Shia Lebanese Community from GCC countries. Perhaps this will finally force them to stand up to the Evil within their communities.

Clearly the work of the Syrian regime through their puppets HA. Worthless human beings if you can even label them that!

the shia community knows the result of these actions; when the war will happen, they will be denied refuge. sad but true.

Just to clear some of your thoughts here, Mokdad family did not conduct any of these actions due to any poltical motivation, neither Hezbollah has any ties or connections with this, it is simply a family that gave up waiting on the governemt to take responsibility or to help bringing Mokdad's son back...
