Report: Judge in Samaha's Case to Resume Probe on Tuesday
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةMilitary Examining Magistrate Judge Riyad Abu Ghida will resume on Tuesday the questioning in the case of ex-Minister Michel Samaha, al-Joumhouria newspaper reported.
Sources close to the defense attorneys told the daily that a meeting was held with Abu Ghida in the past few days to request the questioning of “the secret informer,” Milad Kfouri, as soon as possible.
However, the sources said that their request hasn't been met yet.
The former minister, Syrian National Security Bureau head Ali Mamlouk and a Syrian officer identified as Brig. Gen. Adnan were charged on Aug. 11 with plotting to assassinate political and religious figures in Lebanon and carry out terrorist attacks.
Media reports said that Kfouri, who has used several aliases, was allegedly behind reporting Samaha to the ISF Intelligence Branch.
On August 30, commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr decided to transfer Samaha to al-Rihaniyeh military prison in Baabda for “security reasons.”
They want to question 'Milad kfouri', mouahaha. They want to track him down to his hideout and have him slaughtered. Well tried Bachar!
The defence should know that Mr. Kfoury isn't reachable for decades: Wissam granted a holiday warrant of $5 million dollar to Mr. Kfoury to take a holiday tour with mini Hariris best friend Zuhair Siddiq.
Syrian regime was planning on having this idiot as the next president of the state. Now he is BUSTED.
