Mustaqbal: Nasrallah Threw Away All Chances for Future National Dialogue

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Al-Mustaqbal bloc criticized on Tuesday Hizbullah Leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's classification of Lebanese people between “a loyal patriot and a traitor,” adding that Hizbullah's chief talked about fighting internal tensions while “he was promoting them in his Monday evening's speech”.

"Nasrallah threw away any chances to carry on with the national dialogue, especially that he proposed a new format for the participating leaders,” the bloc's statement said after the weekly meeting of the party's deputies.

The bloc also criticized the “absence of illegally imported drugs' scandal from Nasrallah's speech”, pointing out that these products were promoted by “companies affiliated with Hizbullah”.

"This scandal gives an idea about the policies undertaken by Hizbullah, the Ministry of Public Health and the entire cabinet that sponsors corruption and weakens the state's authorities and institutions,” the statement said.

Media reports said on Friday that the brother of Hizbullah's Minister of State for Administrative Reform Mohammad Fneish might be involved in forging certificates of laboratory tests.

Regarding recent security incidents in Sidon, al-Mustaqbal saw in them “a projection of the Iranian-Syrian plans for the region, whose implementation included the assassination of General Wissam al-Hasan”.

"Hizbullah is dragging the country into a state of internal conflicts,” al-Mustaqbal statement said, adding that it is impossible for the cabinet to control the spread of weapons, especially that "Hizbullah, which is dominating the government, is the party that is using these weapons”.

Three people died on Sunday in the southern Lebanese city and many were injured during a clash between supporters of Sheikh Ahmed al-Asir and Hizbullah.

Leader of Hizbullah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah commented on Monday on these events, stressing that Sidon will always remain the capital of the south and “the homeland of resistance against the enemy”.

Mowaten. Nasrallah acted in a very sectarian manner yesterday. Despite all the attacks of M14 sunnite hawks against him, he insisted that it was Geagea who was creating strife between sunnites and chiites. We all know that Bahia hariri created Assir- not geagea, and the tripoli strife has nothing to do with Geagea.
Even though I dont like geagea, i am outraged at the lowly attack that nasrallah did against him yesterday: His sunnite foes are allowed to insult him day in and day out. However the only one he mentionned is the christian one. This is sectarianism at its strongest: Nasrallah is the one trying to create division and strife.

Thumb geha 13 November 2012, 19:44

all Lebanese have enough of hizbushaitan weapons wether you want to believe it or not: may 7 is still in all f our memories, and we do not forget what your traitors did.
if Geagea voiced our concern, then we thank him for that.

Thumb lebanon_first 13 November 2012, 20:22

i read the post. So what? Of course geagea wants HA to return the weapons. Geagea played fair and returned the weapons of the LF. Why doesnt HA return their weapons?
But that is not the point. Please answer focusing on my point. Why is Nasrallah trying to foster sectarianism amongst his followers by saying that Geagea is trying to create sunni-chiite strife?

Farsi Motormouth speaks through the voice of Iran....not Lebanon. Keep your trash there and leave our country alone!

@mowaten. Yea that's so shady. Ga3ga3 has always been like this... BUT... Hizballah killed Hassan. It doesn't make sense that ga3ga3 or any1 else would continue working with Israel knowing that they r the ones assassinating M14 leaders. Y would Israel blow up it's allies? And y would the allies stick around?... I said it b4, M14 is an existential threat to hizballah. All is fair in war, it's not far from them to assassinate some1 they see as a "3amil".

Missing mohammad_ca 14 November 2012, 02:04

hizbocrap's weapons are Lebanon's major internal problem, if you do not see that then you're an idiot.

How convenient ... a 2006 poll conducted when Israel and Hezbollah raped Lebanon once again !

Of course, against, Israel, the Lebanese will all stand by Hezbollah ... but this does not legalise Hezbollah's illegal possession of arms and illegal activities and murders and terrorising and holding captive the Lebanese people !

Thumb geha 13 November 2012, 19:25

the truth is that nasrallah statement was full of sectarian instigation driving Lebanon to civil war.
categorising people as traitors while he is the iranian traitor.
all hizbushaitan are doing is to cover up for their murdors and ill doings like spreading fake medicine, and not handing over the perpetrators. where is fneich? let them hand him over.
you are so blind that you do not see that what he said is pure sectarian inflamatory comments aimed at starting the civil war just fr the pleasure of his syro/iranian masters.
if this is what you want guys, then God have mercy on all of us, and brace yourseves for several years of killings and destruction with no one benefitting from that except iran and the syrian regime.

Thumb geha 13 November 2012, 19:46

NO for the iranian weapons in Lebanon.

As for the national dialogue, HA has never ever taken anything coming from that seriously--each time they feel pressure, they do other distractions including the 2006 war with Israel, the 2007 sitin at parliament, and their May 2008 invasion.

No one trusts them any more--and they have demonstrated that they shouldn't be by their words and actions.

Thumb Elemental 13 November 2012, 20:01

The credibility of HA is lost, pinning it on Christians....you've been at eachother's throats for ages and he blames the Christians? No more distractors please, although entertaining, he's still Iranian and therefore his words mean nothing. Same goes for any externally influenced parties, or people claiming to be Lebanese when they are not. It's like someone from India heading to Japan and saying "I'm from Japan too, 100%"

Thumb lebanon_first 13 November 2012, 20:14

he blames it on the christians because he is afraid of the sunnites. (1 billion sunnite at his front door.) so he attacks the weakest link: the christians. despicable strategy.

Lebanon_First

If he blamed the sunnies than he would be igniting war, if a christian is instigating between sunnie and shia, thats not acceptable,it would be the same as a shia instigating between a maronite and armenian,SHN called out geagea cause he is Christian and instigating between lebanese sunnie and shia, if SHN attacked the sunnies what would that solve nothing, you all would be saying hes declaring war on the sunnies.dammned if u do and damned if u dont

dialogue the M8 way: "we dialogue on all the issues we and only we choose!"

how can there be dialogue with such hypocrits?
M8 can say what they want but by refusing to tackle some issues they shut themselves the door to any dialogue....

Thumb lebnanfirst 13 November 2012, 21:22

Disgraceful performance!

After this speech he still dares to call himself Lebanese while single handedly deciding that more than half of us are "traitors" in his eyes.

And he claims HA agreed to dialogue out of the kindness of its heart as if he is doing the rest of us a favor. Disgraceful!

Then to top it all out he purposely stirs the sectarian pot by attempting to channel Sunni anger towards M14 Christians. Disgraceful!

No one is falling for this crap least of all the Sunnis. They can see through his hate mongering and judge for themselves who has been at their side all along.

Shameful and Disgraceful! The sooner the Shiites get rid of this cancer the better for Lebanon and for them.

Missing peace 13 November 2012, 21:46

well he just reproduces what they reproached georges bush of doing: categorizing the world in two parts: the axis of good and the axis of evil. here turbanman categorizes lebanese as "patriots" if they are M8 and the others which are traitors...

such a simple analysis to suit the empty brains of his followers....

Thumb lebnanfirst 13 November 2012, 21:27

Really? Here we go again with your selective historical memory. Lets hark back to October of a few years past when it was Aoun that withdrew form the dialogue and was then supported by HA and M8.

Walaou, is your memory span that short @ FlameThrower? I don't think so, it is just that you and M8 think that you are always right and everyone else is wrong. Shame on you.

Hezbollah alienates its friends and allies over comments from the opposition ... March 14 lays the trap and Nasrallah takes the bait.

Nasrallah tries to play the Christian card when the problems are now Shiite-Salafist in origin ...

Does Nasrallah really want trouble on three fronts? Syria, Israel and at home in Lebanon?

There are no military solutions in any of these cases. Hezbollah must wage its war through public relations, friends and allies.

The tide has turned against Zionism throughout the world but the world does not embrace Hezbollah militarism. Nasrallah does the Resistance a grave disservice ...

Missing mmckinl 13 November 2012, 22:00

One can seize on any number of different trouble makers to blame for the current political crisis.

It is those that call for dialog and reconciliation that show bravery and patriotism.

There can be no excuses for sanctioning violence. True leadership means ignoring the voices of hatred and moving forward toward peace.

Missing mmckinl 13 November 2012, 22:09

@lebnanfirst

Let's not harken back to the days of violence and death. Let's move forward towards a future of peace. Factions of both M8 and M14 are guilty of inciting unrest.

The people of Lebanon will suffer dearly should the conditions descend into violence. Listen to those who promote the interests of the Lebanese people, not those who coddle their power at Lebanon's expence.

Thumb Chupachups 13 November 2012, 23:20

You naive supporters of Hezbollah saying that m14 don't want dialogue , it is hezbollshaytan that has always put preconditions on its weapons.... "We can dialogue, but don't dare touch my stockpile.. Cos I wanna have the option to shoot u later when u annoy me"..... Great dialogue indeed... Go procreate yourselves

I have already seen and calculated the future of lebanon. Hesbollah better enjoy its remaining years of tyranny in lebanon because time is working against it. march 14 will rise back up and usher a new era of peace and prosperity in lebanon as soon as syria's regime is replaced. March 14 will switch to become pro-syrian, hesbollah and aoun will switch to become anti syrian and the rest of the march 8 alliance, SSNP, druze, armenians, and others, will join the march 14 alliance giving them a clear majority.
