Israel Denies Involvement in Bir al-Abed Blast

Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon denied that his country was involved in the blast that target Bir al-Abed neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburbs.
“The civil war in Syria has spilled over into Lebanon after Hizbullah interfered in it,” Yaalon said.
The minister considered that the explosion is linked to “the struggle between the Shiites and the Sunnis within Lebanon.”
At least 53 people were wounded in the explosion that was caused by a booby-trapped vehicle in the Hizbullah stronghold neighborhood.
Officially neutral in Syria's conflict, Lebanon is deeply divided into pro- and anti-Assad camps.
Hizbullah and its allies back President Bashar Assad, who adheres to the Alawite offshoot of Shiite Islam, while the Sunni-led opposition supports rebels seeking his ouster.

No.... listen carefully to what he is saying: "“The civil war in Syria has spilled over into Lebanon after Hizbullah interfered in it,” Yaalon said.

As an outsider reading your comments there is only one thing that I have to say - you should be well and truly ashamed of yourself.
Regarding the oil and gas even your government has not claimed that, so unless you are an expert geologist, may I suggest that you don't know what you are talking about.

Take a deep breath ya wolf.
Your excess zeal and Hitler analogy are unwarranted and distasteful even by us Muslims.
At least Jews have aligned interests and have been working toward a common goal, be it colonisation (theft, etc...) or else.
In short: Philippo may be the only Israeli on this forum and his views are highly appreciated despite their difference. I equally appreciate the tact he shows compared to many others...

"hitler was right" - how about that for "anti-semitic"
"Bloody Israelis" - anti - Israel
On the other hand - "We as Lebanese provided you Jews all the Cedar Holy Tree required as well as the labour to build the Great Temple For King Solomon" - you admit categorically that the Jews were in the area you call Palestine over 3000 years ago, negating the common used phrasing by the Arab leaders that Jews have no rights to the Holy Land.
By the way, just because I write sometimes in favour of the Jews, and/or Israel, doesn't mean to say that I am one myself. I just happen to be someone who studied Middle East History and Georgraphy at Uni, over 50 years ago, and have kept up my interest in the region ever since.

History does not lie - Read an Arab story of the Nakba, read an Israeli story of the War of Independence and how the Arab leadership in the Galilee called for the local Arabs to leave their towns and villages so that the Arab armies can annihilate Israel and they will be able to return to their homes within weeks, and then tell me that at least one of those histories lies, and I'm not going to go into a discussion of which.

Just shut the f*** up!
You are an insult to whatever is left of my lebanese identity

Even as an outsider to the Middle East, I know that the UN has declared that Israel does not occupy one single square centimeter of Lebanese territory, and that the Shabaa Farms are in fact Syrian territory.
What 1967 border agreement are you refering to? Don't you mean the 1948 CEASE FIRE LINES agreement signed between Israel and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan? Where exactly were the Palestinian Independence aspirations between 1948 and 1967, the 19 years when Jordan occupied the West Bank?
What resources of yours is Israel siphoning off? If the Government of Lebanon thinks this way, why won't they sit down and talk with the Government of Israel (See another article on Naharnet today - even the North and South Koreans are talking and they too are technically still in a state of war)

I don't want to argue with you, but would at the same time like to ask you a question. What happened to the property of the 600,000 + Jewish refugees who were forced out of their lands and homes in the Arab States from 1948 onwards ? Or doesn't that count.

Jews are the worst breed of human.
It's not just the zionists..... The whole lot of them are rotten.
I stand by my words
