Gulf Bloc Criticizes Nasrallah's Syria Threat

The Gulf Cooperation Council has criticized Hizbullah chief sayyed Hassan Nasrallah for threatening to send more fighters to neighboring Syria after a car bomb hit his stronghold.

"At the same time that he calls for self restraint, he threatens the Syrians that his party will be more involved in fighting them," GCC secretary general Abdullatif al-Zayani said in a statement released late Monday.

"This is a flagrant meddling in their (Syrians') internal affairs and an obvious violation of the Syrian sovereignty," he said, describing Nasrallah's speech of being "irresponsible".

"Nasrallah continues to boast about the participation of his militia in slaughtering children, women and innocent Syrians, and destroying their towns and property," Zayani said.

He even boasts that he is "ready to double the number of his militia fighters and even to join the fight himself against the Syrian people," Zayani added.

The head of the Iran-backed movement accused radical Sunni Islamists, who have joined the fight against the Syrian regime, of being behind last week's car bomb in the predominantly Shiite southern suburb of Beirut, which killed 27 people and wounded 336.

"I will go myself to Syria if it is so necessary in the battle against the takfiris (radical Sunni Muslims); Hizbullah and I will go to Syria" to fight rebels trying to oust President Bashar Assad, said Nasrallah defiantly.

Hizbullah is a key supporter of Syrian President Bashar Assad and has sent fighters across the border this year to bolster government forces, which have been battling an anti-regime revolt since March 2011.

Oil-rich GCC countries, which are backing the uprising, have imposed sanction on Hizbullah over its support for Assad.

The GCC comprises Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

What a huge load of bollocks! Do these zionist pawns even understand Arabic?
On would wonder seeing how they missed every point he made and instead are answering their own fantasies

""At the same time that he calls for self restraint, he threatens the Syrians that his party will be more involved in fighting them," GCC secretary general Abdullatif al-Zayani said in a statement released late Monday."

>> uuuh no, he said he would fight the takfiris who are massacring Syrians

"Nasrallah continues to boast about the participation of his militia in slaughtering children, women and innocent Syrians, and destroying their towns and property," Zayani said.
>>> again, no, he insisted especially on how it is forbidden to touch civilians and only fight caombattants

It amazes me _mowaten_ how on the one hand you are sharp as a pencil seeing the GCCs hypocrisy - supplying foreign militants and arming them in this civil war that went proxy ages ago.
While on the other hand, you're dumb as a doorknob fantasizing that Hezballah are not the other side of the same coin... standing side by side with Iran and Assad's horrendous regime in a proxy game of war.

There doesn't always have to be a right side and a wrong side. There can be two devils playing out this game - hijacking what started as a legitimate struggle against a tyrant, and turning it into a nasty Shia vs. Sunni bloodbath.

Your buddy Nasrallah has little business being there, just as the GCC and the other players. Instead, he should be taking care of his Lebanese constituents... Isn't there any work to be done at home?

Thumb _mowaten_ 20 August 2013, 12:04

too bad there are facts that show they are entirely different.

Missing yarden 20 August 2013, 12:15

de-nial is not just a river in Egypt....

It's so straightforward it's sad
Millions of Shia supporters think the facts clearly state that "their involvement is justified" while millions of Sunni supporters think the facts clearly state that "their involvement is justfied"

And with that rationale all together millions and millions are killing Syria slowly but surely

Thumb _mowaten_ 20 August 2013, 12:24

i'm talking about facts on how, why and who they fight. for instance in quseyr they took out 3500 fighters and no civilians (figures say 47 civilians died in quseyr, but it is impossible to say who killed them). whereas takfiris killed (and proudly filmed themselves doing it) thousands of innocents. that is a fundamental difference that changes everything.
also the attack was a response to shelling on hermel and massacres in border villages, therefore self-defense, while the takfiri's motivation was sectarian cleansing, another fundamental difference.

I never hated Bashar with a passion...
And what you say sounds lovely - like a page of the Syrian propaganda ministry. The fact is, a very large portion of the Syrian people spoke loud and clear that the DON'T like Bashar, and went on a legitimate mission to oust him with peaceful protest, having no other means of doing so.
I lost respect for Bashar when he started pounding them with bullets and tanks. And the rest is all history.
So with all due respect to some women ministers, and even if Syria rose from it's mid 50s shambles, it's been in shambles since the 80s, lagging way behind on everything. I also assume it was less pleasant to be Sunni in Syria, or live outside Damascus, Haleb or Latakia...

Thumb cedre 20 August 2013, 17:49

Stop repeating stupidily Baath propaganda, they ruined the country by stealing billions, building a police state with moukhabarat present everywhere, they spent billions on old soviet useless military hardware, they supported terrorism in turkey, jordan, lebanon. They denied kurds citizenship and oppressed sunnis, both representing together only 80% of syrian population...

Thumb proudlebanon 20 August 2013, 18:31

HAHAHAAHHAHAHA

FT you are the funniest commentator on this website I swear.

The Assad's did for Syria...what? A wonderful little police state where taxis are paid to snitch on people for speaking badly about the state...your a funny shabiha. go play little baby.

We're potentially oil-rich, I guess?

Thumb geha 20 August 2013, 15:56

hizbushaitan, being the iranian terrorist militia, has nothing to do in an arab country like Syria.
Syria is an arab country and arabs have the right to decide for themselves what they want.
this Iranian terrorist militia acts like an occupying force, and they will be eradicated soon. they are just digging their own grave.

Thumb _mowaten_ 20 August 2013, 16:27

hahahaha you mean saudis have the right to impose takfirism on syrians because they're arabs? nice try, but no fly gegeha

Thumb geha 20 August 2013, 17:34

keep relating everything to takfirism :) as if the Iranian type of shiism is sooooo tolerant.
each time there is something hizbushaitan does not like they say Israeli thus making killing a person fair: what do you call that? tolerance?
you are just a sectarian idiot who repeats what his masters tell him and do not understand the extent of your words.

But the leelebpatriot1, how can you praise nasrallah when he is descended from those invading arabs? Without them, nasrallah wouldnt even be in lebanon today so make up your mind and stop contradicting yourself. Do you beat yourself to much on ashura to be able to comprehend simple facts?

Thumb cedre 20 August 2013, 20:08

we got the message mowaten, if somebody does not support HA or Iran, he is a pro- US zionist-takfiri cannibal. Actually, if u are not shia, u are takfiri-zionist...

Unfortunatly, people like benzona help them in reaching that conclusion.

Missing lebanese_dst 21 August 2013, 02:01

You didnt answer my question though. You are against the invading arabs, but you love and praise nasrallah who hails from them. So which is it? And in what way was i not civil? You call muslims cannibals based on one incident, therefor i am more entitled to bring up the beating of ashura since its not just one incident rather its a common practice. Do you see how you makebit easy to insult you and your "side" when you post such garbage? Your inviting people to insult shias when you post like that and that was why i brought up ashura, to open your mind a bit but thats to much to ask from someone who posts with fake pictures.
