Downpours Swamp Lebanon Roads, Cause Chaos

Roads across Lebanon turned into swamps as Lebanon witnessed Autumn's heavy rain, causing bumper-to-bumper traffic blocking drivers in their vehicles and causing property damage.

The Civil Defense “struggled” to free those who were stuck in their vehicles.

The heavy rain turned roads and highways across the country into swamps as sewers flooded.

Caretaker Public Works Minister Ghazi Aridi and caretaker Finance Minister Mohammed Safadi had traded salvos recently over the funding of ministry projects.

According to Aridi the lack of funding prevented his ministry from cleaning the sewers and drainage pipes.

Experts estimate Lebanon annually has an average 2.1 billion cubic meters (73.5 billion cubic feet) of renewable hydraulic resources, more than half of which is dumped straight into the Mediterranean for lack of any strategic planning.

The heavens and seven seas are celebrating the speech of Sayyed Hassan. The heavens opened its blessings in joy and poured holy water to cleanse us from evil. Miracle after miracle, from divine victory to divine victory, from supernatural to superpower, Sayyed's presence is being felt throughout the universe. Bless Him.....

As Banima would write, the najas is still around despite the rain. I think it can only be cleansed with fire!

"According to Aridi the lack of funding prevented his ministry from cleaning the sewers and drainage pipes."

In other words, I stole so much, I didn't have money left to provide the population with basic infrastructure requirements...

@gabby
Please read your post again and again..and again and again...keep reading it until you finally realize how foolish you are.
If you knew anything about Lebanon then you'd know the electricity problem has been a problem way before HA was in the government and possible even before their creation as a group.
You seriously need to get on some meds.
