Banque du Liban Accelerate 2014: Lebanon’s 1st International Startup Conference
Banque du Liban is celebrating the first anniversary of its Circular 331 startup fund, and its amending circular 367, by hosting Lebanon’s 1st international startup conference - Banque du Liban Accelerate
2014 - on Thursday November 20 and Friday November 21, 2014 at Forum de Beyrouth on the shores of the Mediterranean in Beirut, a press release said.
Banque du Liban Accelerate 2014 will bring together over 500 top entrepreneurs, investors, and knowledge-economy stakeholders from around the world to lay the foundation for establishing Lebanon as a premier international startup hub alongside London, Berlin, Singapore, Toronto,
Santiago, and Moscow.
Trends, insights, opportunities, and challenges will be discussed and presented in focused panels, keynotes, and fireside chats, featuring leading names in today’s international startup scene, including veteran VCs from Silicon Valley and New York and seasoned entrepreneurs from London,
Berlin, and Paris.
The full Banque du Liban Accelerate 2014 conference-track agenda will be
revealed over the next few weeks.
Two other tracks - startup and ecosystem - will be running in parallel in the adjoining open space as the Startup Plaza and the Ecosystem Square respectively.
The Banque du Liban Accelerate 2014 Startup Plaza will feature select international, regional, and local startups, and will include an international startup competition that ties in with Banque du Liban Circular 331.
The Banque du Liban Accelerate 2014 Ecosystem Square will provide key investors and stakeholders with a powerful platform to deliver valuable startup support activities, and relevant investment opportunities to a high caliber international audience.
