'Chicks with Guns' Finds its Bullseye Among Photo Books

Jolie, Thornton to Present New Films at Berlin Festival

Angelina Jolie's directorial debut about the Bosnian war and a drama made by and starring her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton will feature at the Berlin film festival next month, organizers said Monday.

Jolie will present her harrowing drama "In the Land of Blood and Honey" out of competition after winning praise in Bosnia for its unflinching take on the brutal 1992-1995 conflict, filmed in local languages with a home-grown cast.

Hitchcock Star Slams French Film for Music 'Rape'

Veteran U.S. actress Kim Novak accused the French makers of silent film hit "The Artist" of "rape" Monday for using music from Alfred Hitchcock classic "Vertigo" in their movie vying for Oscars glory.

Novak, who starred in the 1958 Hitchcock thriller, said the makers of "The Artist" -- up for a clutch of prizes in Hollywood's current awards season -- had cheated by only giving a relatively small credit for the music.
