Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman's step-granddaughter was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in New York, US media reported Sunday.

E'Dena Hines, 33, was found on a Manhattan street early Sunday morning with multiple stab wounds, officials said. She was pronounced dead in a hospital shortly after.

Toy Story Turns Love Story as Disney Unveils New Movies

Disney and its subsidiary Pixar on Friday announced a slew of new animated movies coming down the pipe, including a love story in the "Toy Story" series and a modern take on Jack and the Beanstalk.

'Sesame Street' Exits U.S. Public TV for HBO

After 45 years on U.S. public television, "Sesame Street" is relocating to HBO in a move its creators say will result in more new episodes of the beloved children's program.

Starting this fall, "Sesame Street" will run for five seasons on the pay TV channel and its Internet streaming options, its producer, the non-profit Sesame Workshop, said in a statement Thursday.

Michael Jordan Lawyer: Star's Name Worth $480M to Nike

Michael Jordan's lawyer told jurors Wednesday at a civil trial over the unauthorized use of the star's name in a steak ad that the market value of Jordan's moniker to the Nike sportswear company was at least $480 million. Each commercial use of Jordan's name is worth more than $10 million, he estimated.

The price tag on Jordan's name is the central issue for jurors who will decide how much Dominick's Finer Foods should pay in damages for a 2009 Sports Illustrated ad that congratulated the basketball legend by name on his Hall of Fame induction. The ad also included a $2-off coupon above a photograph of a sizzling steak.
