Famed Chef Offers up Wine to Finance Next Big Project

Food-lovers who miss dining at the tables of Ferran Adria's elBulli restaurant can get another taste on Friday -- of his wine, at least, as the famed Catalan chef auctions his celebrated collection.

The sale, at upscale Sotheby's auction house in New York, will benefit Adria's foundation, where, two years after the legendary Spanish restaurant shut its doors, Adria, considered one of the best experimental chefs, now works full-time.

MTV Piping up for 'Scream' Series to Air in 2014

MTV is getting ready to blast viewers with a brand-new "Scream."

The network says it will produce a pilot for a TV-series adaptation of the wildly popular slasher films. The series would reinvent the horror-comedy franchise that began with the original release in 1996 and spawned three sequels, the most recent in 2011.

Don Omar is top Winner at Billboard Latin Awards

Reggaeton star Don Omar was the top winner of the Billboard Latin Music Awards, though the bigger star of the show might have been the one who wasn't there: The late Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera.

Don Omar took home 10 prizes at the annual show Thursday honoring Spanish-language songs and performers. Rivera won six prizes, including artist of the year. The California-born superstar was killed in a plane accident last year in Mexico.

Drugs Found on Justin Bieber's Tour Bus in Sweden

Swedish police said Thursday they had found a "small amount" of drugs on Canadian pop star Justin Bieber's tour bus while he was performing in Stockholm.

"We conducted a search of Justin Bieber's bus and found a small amount of drugs," Stockholm police spokesman Lars Bystroem told Agence France Presse.

Movie Review: Oblivion (2013)

It's always sad to see a movie not live up to its potential. "Oblivion" has so much working in its favor that you'd expect it to at least be an enjoyable ride, but "Tron: Legacy" director Joe Kosinski once again sucks the fun out of the proceedings in favor of pretty visuals and a trippy soundtrack. This is especially disappointing when you factor in Tom Cruise's solid performance.

A documentary on the life of tragic British singer Amy Winehouse will feature unseen footage of the late star, the company handling its sale at the Cannes film festival said on Thursday.

Focus Features International, a division of U.S. entertainment giant NBCUniversal, said it would be taking the as yet untitled film to next month's Riviera movie extravaganza.

Publisher, Photographer Probed over Kate Photos

French prosecutors have placed the publisher and photographer of unauthorized topless snaps of Prince William's wife, Kate, under formal criminal investigation, they said Thursday.

Caroline Chassain, spokeswoman for the Nanterre prosecutor, said that Mondadori Magazines France and local photographer Valerie Suau were placed under investigation earlier this month over possible criminal exploitation of the images, which appeared in the French "Closer" magazine last September.

Tina Turner Becomes a Swiss Citizen

Tina Turner, the U.S.-born singer famed for hits such as "Private Dancer" and "What's Love Got to Do With It", has become a Swiss citizen, the Swiss newspaper Blick reported.

The 73-year-old retired entertainer, who has lived in Switzerland for nearly two decades, received her red Swiss passport with its distinctive white cross on it on Monday, the publication said.
