Savage's 'World' Comes Full Circle with Spinoff

Ben Savage says that when production wrapped on "Boy Meets World" in 2000 after seven seasons, he and his young co-stars were ready to expand their own worlds.

"I think at that point all the kids on the show were kind of looking forward to the next step in their lives," the 33-year-old actor said. "'Boy Meets World' was really our childhood, and so when it ended, the cast was ready to say, 'OK, let's see what's next.'"

Hundreds of former Libyan rebels gathered in Sarajevo on Thursday to see the world premiere of a documentary dedicated to their 2011 fight against Moammar Gadhafi's regime.

The four-hour documentary "Tomorrow, Tripoli" by French director Florent Marcie depicts the everyday experiences of fighters in Zintan, the West Libyan hill town that was among the first to fall into rebel hands after an armed uprising broke out against Gadhafi in February 2011.

Ex Olympian, Subject of Jolie Film, Dies at 97

Louis Zamperini, a former U.S. Olympic athlete and Japanese prison of war, whose life story is told in an upcoming movie directed by Angelina Jolie, has died aged 97, filmmakers said Thursday.

Zamperini, the inspiration for the book and film "Unbroken," died from pneumonia, surrounded by his family and loved ones, said a statement by Universal Pictures.

Lindsay Lohan is suing the makers of the "Grand Theft Auto" video games. The actress says the latest installment used her image and created a character based on her without her permission.

Lohan's lawsuit was filed Wednesday in a Manhattan court. "Grand Theft Auto V" game maker Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and subsidiary Rockstar Games declined to comment.

Shakira to Headline at World Cup Final

Pop star Shakira will perform before the World Cup final in Rio de Janeiro on July 13, headlining a closing ceremony that includes guitar virtuoso Carlos Santana and rapper Wyclef Jean.

Shakira, who is making her third straight World Cup appearance, will sing "La la la (Brazil 2014)" with Brazilian star Carlinhos Brown, FIFA said in a statement on Wednesday.
