Oscar-winning actress Celeste Holm -- who was the original girl who couldn't say no in the musical "Oklahoma!" -- has died aged 95, her family and reports said Sunday.

Holm, who won the best supporting actress Academy Award in 1948 for "Gentlemen's Agreement" and later appeared in "High Society" (1956), died at her home in New York.

Belarussians Rock against Lukashenko in Poland

Unable to perform freely in their authoritarian homeland, half a dozen bands from Belarus are rocking against the regime at a music festival in Poland near the border with their country.

"This is a unique festival, where bands can sing in Belarussian and not in Russian and shout out 'Long live free Belarus'," Hanna Piekarska, spokeswoman of the annual BASowiszcza festival, told Agence France Presse by telephone as the two-day event got under way Friday.

Kerry Kennedy Arrested For Driving While Impaired

Kerry Kennedy, the daughter of slain U.S. political icon Robert F. Kennedy, was arrested Friday after she was in a car crash in New York and found to be driving while impaired by drugs, police said.

The Lexus driven by Kennedy collided with a tractor-trailer on an interstate highway in Westchester County north of New York City and the 52-year-old then left the scene of the accident, state police said in a statement.

Ubisoft Taking Blockbuster 'Assassin's Creed' to Big Screen

Videogame firm Ubisoft is moving into the film business with an adaptation of its blockbuster title "Assassin's Creed" -- sidestepping the Hollywood movie machine by producing the film itself.

With rising star Michael Fassbender of "Prometheus" and "X:Men: First Class" fame signed on to play the title role, the film will be the first produced by Ubisoft Motion Pictures, a division set up by the Paris-based firm so it can retain creative control over adaptations of its game franchises.

Bob Dylan dismissed Thursday a claim that a woman in New Jersey has the guitar he played at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, when he was infamously booed for going electric.

A lawyer for the music icon said Dylan still has the Fender Stratocaster guitar which he played on July 25, 1965, prompting boos which forced him off stage after only three songs.
