Teen heartthrob singer Justin Bieber admits it is not easy staying grounded amid huge wealth and adoration from screaming fans, but says he is determined to remain humble.

The 18-year-old Canadian, in Australia on a tightly-controlled promotional tour where he has been mobbed by fans, shot to fame in 2009 after posting several homemade music videos on YouTube and has now sold 15 million albums.

U.S. folk rock legend Bob Dylan is releasing the 35th studio album in his 50-year recording career on September 11, Columbia Records announced Tuesday.

In a statement, the label said "Tempest" -- produced by "Jack Frost," an alias that Dylan has used in the past -- will feature 10 "new and original Bob Dylan songs."

One of Africa's most traditional instruments, the thumb piano, may look a little out of place in the hands of Sakaki Mango, a Japanese musician who has adopted it as his own.

Over the last decade, Mango has become known in his native Japan for mixing the sound of the traditional hand-held metal and wood instrument with songs he composes and sings in Japanese.

Jon Lord, keyboardist with legendary British rock band Deep Purple and co-author of their most famous hit Smoke On The Water has died aged 71, his family announced on Monday.

Lord, who also played with Whitesnake, died at the London Clinic on Monday, surrounded by family, a statement said. "Jon passes from Darkness to Light," it added.

"Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill" actress Uma Thurman is a mother again at 42, after giving birth to a baby girl, her publicist said Monday.

The newborn is the third child for the star, and her first with financier partner Arpad Busson. "A baby girl! Mommy and baby are doing really well," the star's spokeswoman Gabrielle Kachman told Agence France Presse, giving no further details.
