Al-Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc head MP Fouad Saniora hailed on Sunday the resignation of Prime Minister Najib Miqati's cabinet, considering that the premiers move will “benefit” Lebanon.

Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel on Saturday called for a speedy formation of a consensual new government, warning that the deadly unrest in the northern city of Tripoli is "very dangerous" and that entire Lebanon is in danger.
