hahahaha all you little keyboard-heroes lash out on him but Bachar is much stronger than you think, he has the support of the street and all you fortune tellers will only have to face the fact that you were wrong in the end.
Bachar is not an American puppet, this is why they want him out, and this is why they will fail.
Have a nice day.
how about you go join the protests rudy, since you seem to care so much?
the "people" as you say have spoken but not in the way you think, which only proves that you have been reading/watching news from outside Syria that are all one-sided. those who have "spoken" against Bachar are some militiamen from the muslim brotherhood, those who killed over 460 policemen and soldiers, and god knows how many civilians to make the repression appear as brutal. many of those MB militiamen have been arrested and will never be seen again, and nobody in Syria will miss them.
re your comment about Bachar being pro-american, lol

oh and about your overused (and extremely weak) argument that americans didnt ask for Assad's resignation earlier, this is just hilariously dumb. the very moment they publicly backed moubarak, he fell, showing that the people in the "Arab street" knows better than to follow the american "voice of (hypocrite) reason"
and guess what, the americans know it too, they're not THAT stupid, so asking bachar to step down earlier would have been a sign they didnt want to give.
rudy, you're either playing dumb or really being it. of course all media outlets manipulate information depending on the camp they're on, but the very news they choose to publish, and the very targets of their propaganda show who their enemies are. and honestly, yes i trust that israelis know their enemies better than you fake nationalists. most of you are the kind who'd fight for the bones thrown to you while the burglars rob the house.
... you're mixing up everything rudy.
yes there are videos, most of them extremely unclear and subject to interpretation. example: a protester shouting, he gets hit by a bullet, you see him bleeding. who is he? when/where was it? who shot him?
all these have to be told by whoever is publishing the video. some were fake but even in the case of true ones, how do you know who really shot?
other fact, there are many videos showing armed militiamen shooting at policemen, those are never shown in most medias, there is a total blackout on those. why?
they reckon 460 security personnel were killed, but they apparently were killed by aliens (dont worry - (c) rudy)because according to them it's only peaceful protests.
and the theories of bachar shooting his own men to make the protests look bad just doesn't stand, he'd instantly have a mutiny among his troops if he did that.
anyway time will tell, you will see that bachar will remain, because he truly has the support of the majority.
I'm tired of paying 4 times for the generator than I do for EDL.
Not only is it costly and inefficient, but it also causes a lot more pollution to have thousands of individual generators running to cover for EDL cuts.
We need sufficient electricity production capacity, enough is enough, it's been decades now. Just pass that law and build the plants, the people of Lebanon will thank you for it.
Gaddafi was a mentally ill person who played against his own people's interests, just like Moubarak.
Assad is defending the country and the people of Syria, preserving the balance between religious groups and maintaining the secular government.
He is currently fighting off an attempt of military coup conducted by the creepy fanatical salafists of the muslim brotherhood and most of the people of Syria want him to win in this fight against terror and Saudi-sponsored obscurantism.
He will win, and the very reason of that is because the Syrian people (the real one, not the one made in a Hollywood basement for Foxnews & CNN) support him.
You may curse, hate and believe the media lies, but in the end, who cares?
Time will tell, just sit back and watch.
4 hours of power per day!?!? For a country that had 100% coverage 10 years ago and who has gigantic reserves of oil... This is just absurd!!
Poor people of Iraq... Curse those who came to "give them democracy" and instead destroyed all their infrastructure, from water treatment to electricity plants and are leaving them in those miserable conditions while they stuff themselves with billions stolen on Iraqi oil...
