اوباما يطلب من الكونغرس 500 مليون دولار للمعارضة السورية

طلب الرئيس الاميركي باراك اوباما من الكونغرس الاميركي الموافقة على تخصيص 500 مليون دولار من اجل "تدريب وتجهيز" المعارضة المسلحة المعتدلة في سوريا.
وقال البيت الابيض ان "هذه الاموال ستساعد السوريين على الدفاع عن النفس واحلال الاستقرار في المناطق التي تسيطر عليها المعارضة وتسهيل توفير الخدمات الاساسية ومواجهة التهديد الارهابي وتسهيل الظروف للتسوية عن طريق التفاوض".
وتبدي واشنطن قلقا من اتساع تاثير متطرفي تنظيم الدولة الاسلامية في العراق والشام (داعش) في سوريا والعراق المجاور.
