مقتل ثلاثة طلاب مسلمين في اطلاق نار بمدينة جامعية في الولايات المتحدة

وجهت السلطات الاميركية التهم لمسلح يعتنق اراء مناهضة للدين بقتل ثلاثة طلاب مسلمين هم شابة وزوجها وشقيقتها في مدينة تشابل هيل الجامعية في ولاية كارولاينا الشمالية، بحسب ما افادت الشرطة الاربعاء.
وقالت شرطة تشابل هيل انها تحقق في احتمال ان تكون هذه جريمة كراهية، الا ان الحادث سببه على ما يبدو خلاف بين جيران بشان موقف سيارات.
وكشفت الشرطة ان القاتل هو كريغ ستيفن هيكس (46 عاما) ويحتجز في سجن مقاطعة دورهام بتهمة ارتكاب ثلاث جرائم قتل من الدرجة الاولى.
واضافت ان الضحايا الذين توفوا على الفور، هم سكان تشابل هيل ضياء شادي بركات (23 عاما) وزوجته يسر محمد ابو صالحة (21 عاما) وشقيقتها رزان محمد ابو صالحة (19 عاما) من رايلي.
وسلم هيكس نفسه بعد اطلاق النار الثلاثاء في تشابل هيل امام حرم الجامعة.
وقالت الشرطة في بيان "تحقيقاتنا الاولية تشير الى ان الدافع وراء الجريمة هو خلاف مستمر بين الجيران حول موقف سيارات"، مضيفة ان هيكس يتعاون مع التحقيق.
واكد قائد الشرطة كريس بلو ان "محققينا يتحرون السبب المحتمل الذي دفع هيكس الى ارتكاب مثل هذا العمل الماساوي المجنون. ونحن نتفهم المخاوف من احتمال ان تكون هذه الجريمة ارتكبت بدافع الكراهية، ولن ندخر اي جهد للتاكد من ذلك".
وفي صفحة على موقع فيسبوك يعتقد انها لهيكس ظهرت عشرات التعليقات المناهضة للاديان قال في بعضها ان لديه "اعتراضا ضميريا على الاديان"، اضافة الى رسوم وتعليقات تسخر من الديانة المسيحية ومن طائفة المرمون ومن الاسلام.
وظهرت على صفحته كذلك صورة مسدس معبأ اضافة الى تسجيل فيديو لجرو صغير ولقطة دعائية للخطوط الجوية النيوزيلاندية.
وقال في احدى تعليقاته على الصفحة "انا لست ملحداً لانني اجهل حقيقة الكتاب المقدس. انا ملحد لان الكتاب المقدس جاهل بالحقيقة".
واضاف "نظرا للضرر الجسيم الذي تسبب به دينكم للعالم، استطيع ان اقول انه ليس فقط من حقي بل من واجبي ان اهينكم".
واشعل الحادث موقع تويتر حيث توالت التغريدات عقب الحادث وكان اكثر وسم انتشارا هو "حياة المسلمين مهمة" على غرار وسم "حياة السود مهمة" الذي انتشر بعد مقتل عدد من السود على يد الشرطة في الاشهر الاخيرة.
وانتشرت صور الضحايا الثلاثة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ومن بينها صور زفاف ضياء بركات وزوجته يسر ابو صالحة.
وقالت وسائل اعلام محلية ان ضياء كان طالبا في السنة الثانية في طب الاسنان وان يسر كانت ستبدأ دراستها في الاختصاص نفسه في الخريف. ورزان طالبة في جامعة كارولاينا الشمالية بحسب صحيفة الجامعة.
وفتحت صفحة خاصة على فيسبوك تكريما للطلاب الثلاثة نشرت عليها صورتهم مبتسمين في ما بدا وكأنه حفل تخرج. وكانت يسر ورزان محجبتين.
واعرب فارس شقيق ضياء عن حزنه لمقتلهم وكتب على صفحته على فيسبوك "هذا القتل غير منطقي".
واضاف "ادعو لهم ولاصدقائهم ولعائلتهم. لم ابدأ بعد في استيعاب ما حدث، ولكنني اعلم بالتاكيد ان هؤلاء الثلاثة معا قاموا بالكثير من الامور التي تجعلنا نفخر بهم".

The three victims were Muslims and levantines, the shooter was a white christian yet the police don't know the cause? Had the victims been jews or the attacker been muslim, this story had been huge. Had the shooter been muslim, the incident would have been called terrorist attack right away yet because the shooter isen't, all of a sudden, not even a motive can be found? Injustice at it's finest. All human life is sacred!

hajjradwan, don't jump to conclusions. Had the shooter been a brown "Samer Al-insert arabic last name" and the victims had been non-muslim then you would have assumed he was a muslim. White christians (evangelists in particular) in the US have been inciting against Muslims in the media, in their religious places, on the internet and elsewhere. Indeed, the reactions by many have been "i wish more died" and other such comments in support of these shootings, you can evem see those reactions casually on social media openly. Don't act like it was weird to assume he was a christian. He fits the profile of an extreme republican christian from a small town.

I actually came back to this article only to repost a comment making it clear that the shooter was an atheist. Anononymoustexas, when i posted my comment, this story wasen't yet as big as it is now, people have hashtagged it to the maximum. This story ended up here because naharnet posts AFPs articles when it comes to the world news. And you and i both know that the word terrorist shows up the moment a shooter is suspected of being Muslm, of course the police don't say it as a fact but they say things like "investigating if the shooter had links to terrorist groups" and so on.

Lastly i will say, this article was much shorter when i wrote my first comment and at that time this story was still being downplayed. Had i not mentioned that the shooter was christian, most of you wouldn't even have bothered to comment here. You insulted me for a simple mistake as if it was a far-fetched thing to be mistaken on. No wonder why many view christians as hostile and aggressive. Next time, try to apply the teachings of Christ when correcting somene instead of going on your insult-rants.
