If the UN is useless, at the very least the Arab league is worthless. It doesn't do much and hasn't got much influence on anyone. They most definitely don't represent the oppressed Syrian people... Dialogue is the best exit for the problem plaguing Syria. if all the parties are sincere, a solution based on fairness and democracy could be expeditiously reached and implemented in a whisk. the solution would also make Lebanon more viable as a nation. syria and lebanon could be a potent force both economically and politically. The two countries have unlimited potentials that could be used to enrich the entire Arab world. A democratic Syria could bring richness to our surroundings. I hope that the intents on dialogue are sincere and lasting. I am a hopeful and sanguine person in nature, but given the promises that the Syrian regime gave before without implementation, I remain somehow subdued, albeit remaining more sanguine than pessimistic.

Syria and the Syrian deserve the best. We in lebanon are brothers with the Syrians and both our nations complement each other in all respects.

God extent his hand to the two parties so that blood could be immediately halted.

How can anyone negotiate with a murderer? Assad is in a tight corner and he will try to swindle his way out but to no avail. Hopefully more Syrians will join the protests and more soldiers will desert the dictators army.
