الجمعية العامة للامم المتحدة تتبنى قرارا يدين القمع في سوريا بأغلبية 137 دولة

تبنت الجمعية العامة للامم المتحدة الخميس جلسة قرارا غربيا يدين القمع في سوريا بعد ايام عدة من استخدام موسكو وبكين حق النقض ضد نص مماثل في مجلس الامن الدولي.
ووافق على القرار 137 دولة فيما رفضت 12 دولة القرار منها روسيا والصين وإيران وامتنعت 17 عن التصويت.
ولوحظ أن المجموع لم يكن 193 دولة بسبب عطل في عملية التصويت إذ شكا ممثلو دول عدة من عدم تحميل البرنامج لتصويتها.
وكان قد حذرت روسيا التي اقترحت من دون جدوى حتى الان اجراء تعديلات على النص، من انها لن تدعم مشروع القرار "غير المتوازن" بشكله الحالي.
ويتم تبني القرار بالغالبية البسيطة للدول الاعضاء ال193 في الجمعية العامة، التي تعد هيئة استشارية لا يطبق فيها حق الفيتو.
ويطالب النص الحكومة السورية بانهاء هجماتها على المدنيين ويدعم جهود الجامعة العربية لتامين انتقال ديموقراطي للسلطة في سوريا ويوصي بتعيين مبعوث خاص للامم المتحدة الى سوريا.
