أعلن الاردن الخميس أنه منح اللجوء السياسي لقائد الطائرة الحربية السورية التي هبطت في قاعدة عسكرية جوية شمال المملكة "بناء على طلبه".
وأفاد وزير الدولة لشؤون الاعلام والاتصال الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة الاردنية سميح المعايطة لوكالة "فرانس برس"، أن "مجلس الوزراء قرر منح الطيار السوري العقيد الطيار حسن مرعي الحمادة اللجوء السياسي بناء على طلبه".
وكان وزير الدولة لشؤون الاعلام والاتصال الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة الاردنية سميح المعايطة أعلن الخميس ، أن قائد الطائرة الحربية السورية التي هبطت في قاعدة عسكرية جوية شمال المملكة طلب اللجوء السياسي.
وقال لوكالة "فرانس برس" بأن قائد الطائرة الحربية السورية "التي هبطت في احدى قواعد سلاح الجو الملكي شمال المملكة طلب اللجوء السياسي".
من جانبه، قال مصدر مسؤول في القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الاردنية في بيان انه "في تمام الساعة العاشرة وخمس واربعين دقيقة (0745 تغ) صباح اليوم (الخميس) دخلت الاجواء الاردنية طائرة ميغ 21 تابعة لسلاح الجو السوري".
واضاف ان "الطائرة هبطت بسلام في احدى قواعد سلاح الجو الملكي وقد طلب قائد الطائرة منحه حق اللجوء السياسي".
وكان مصدر حكومي اردني اكد الخميس لوكالة "فرانس برس" بان "طائرة حربية سورية من طراز "ميغ" الروسية الصنع هبطت اضطراريا في قاعدة الملك حسين العسكرية الجوية في منطقة المفرق (شمال المملكة) قرب الحدود الاردنية السورية".
هذا واعتبرت دمشق أن الطيار "فار من الخدمة وخائن"، مطالبة السلطات الاردنية باستعادة الطائرة.
وبث التلفزيون السوري بيانا صادرا عن وزارة الدفاع جاء فيه ان "الطيار (حسن مرعي) الحمادة يعد فارا من الخدمة وخائنا لوطنه ولشرفه العسكري"، مضيفا انه "يتم التواصل مع الجهات الاردنية لاستعادة الطائرة".
ولقد أعلن التلفزيون في وقت سابق، أن السلطات فقدت الاتصال مع طائرة من طراز ميغ 21 كانت في طلعة تدريبية.
وأشار ي نقلا عن مصدر رسمي لم يكشف عنه في شريط اخباري عاجل الى "فقدان الاتصال مع طائرة ميغ 21 كانت في طلعة تدريبية".
واضاف المصدر أن "الطائرة التي كان يقودها العقيد الطيار حسن مرعي الحمادة كانت بالقرب من الحدود الجنوبية لسوريا قبل فقدان الاتصال بها في تمام الساعة العاشرة واربع وثلاثين دقيقة" (7.34 ت غ)
من جهتها، رحبت الولايات المتحدة الخميس بانشقاق طيار حربي سوري وفراره الى الاردن، معتبرة أنه لن يكون الاخير الذي "يفعل الصواب" وينشق عن قوات نظام الرئيس السوري بشار الاسد.
وقال توني فيتور المتحدث باسم مجلس الامن القومي، أن هذا الطيار "واحد من أمثلة لا تعد ولا تحصى عن سوريين، بينهم عناصر من قوات أمن، يرفضون الاعمال الفظيعة التي يقوم بها نظام الاسد، وبالتاكيد لن يكون الاخير".

You do not know his intentions or his situations of course I can declare him a hero because he refused to bomb hie people and left. How do you know he is not going to join the FSA? Maybe he needed to get his family out first so that they don't massacre them...you are not in his place what he did is definitely heroic.

The Defense Minister in Syria calls the Syrian pilot a traitor. No sir...the traitor is he who kills, rapes and murders his own people under the excuse of defending Palestine and "Arabism". Mohammad just be quiet. There are only two options: he joined the army while they were murdering the people or he was already in it and decided to stay in until yesterday (after "only 15000 were killed). So use your brain before declaring deserters as heroes!!!! He should have stayed and fought with the FSA instead of seeking asylum elsewhere. Some hero!!
