Do you want Mr. Presiden't e-mail so you can communicate your thoughts with him directly? I am not sure he reads Naharnet. Let me know. He will enjoy your LONNNNNNG dissertations. After all, Mr. President has plenty of time to kill and values a great strategist.

No one is saying that we cannot shoot down Israeli jets over Lebanese soil, our problem is Hizbollah is storing missiles, medium, to small arms (rocks in Palestinians world), infiltrating the Lebanese state networks by tapping them and using the manholes and assets from top-down against a country with nukes.
Had HA used anti-aircraft missiles and got those anti-aircraft from Iran or Syria daily so that every time we are being violated, then every single Lebanese will be behind them before they would be showing their true color, and will be treated just like the Palestinian armed camps.
What has been going on is that Israel will erase our country infrastructure from the air, meanwhile HA is/will be attempting to send the rocks to reach them so that we can do similar damage hoping the US-Israeli anti-ballastic missile defense project does not catch those rocks and destroy in the air before landing.

It is NOT routine for warplanes to cross borders. If the neighboring country is friendly, then it may be acceptable. But when Turkey talks about military intervention and "humanitarian" zones, that means Syria can only consider it as a hostile neighbor. Syria showed that it is ready for war and the message has been received. When a few thousand Syrian soldiers were sent to Aleppo near the Turkish border, Clinton was talking about that action being hostile against Turkey. What will she say about warplanes "routinely" crossing borders?

Isn't it funny how the SNC claimed the Syrian "defector" pilot flew very fast at very low altitude to avoid Syrian radar? It sounds like it didn't work very well for the Turkish pilots.
