UAE Urges its Citizens to Leave Syria
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe United Arab Emirates has called on its citizens in Syria to exercise caution and avoid the areas that witness frequent anti-regime protests.
Isa Abdullah al-Kalbani, director of Citizens' Affairs at the UAE Foreign Ministry, called on citizens to leave Syria and reconsider travel to the country, reported the Emirates News Agency WAM on Friday.
Syria has been witnessing unprecedented anti-regime protests since March.
The Syrian regime has retaliated by launching a bloody crackdown against the demonstrators, which the United Nations estimates has left more than 3,500 dead.
Why doesn't naharnet, and other western-aligned media networks, mentions that the UN's numbers are solely based on the London-based "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" and the "Local Coordination Committees", both of which have the goal of bringing down the Syrian regime? Also why don't they mention that the 3500 figure includes more than 1200 soldiers and policemen?
Obviously I don't expect an answer. Everyone with half a brain knows why.
@Murad: Do not ask questions because your house is in glass and you can't throw rocks at others, If your half brain can't absorb that the terrorist regime does not and will not allow non SANA media in their Country then those brain cells are already damaged and we can understand why you're seeing half the story. Since March of 2011 and the regime killing machine seen live on youtube.com has been targeting civilians, it is time now to act, defend and treat this regime with an eye for an eye.
