The U.S. Department of State’s Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut is sponsoring a leadership and management training seminar for 19 high-ranking Lebanese police officials, a statement from the United States embassy said on Tuesday.

The January 16-27 training will be conducted by the University of Louisville’s Southern Police Institute, as part of the U.S. government’s efforts to support security and stability in Lebanon through the provision of assistance to Lebanon’s criminal justice sector, including the Internal Security Forces (ISF), it added.

The goal of the training is to support increasing professional development, practical skills, and knowledge on policing theories and practices.

Participants will learn about best practices and strategies utilized by local, state, and national law enforcement officials to develop and enhance relationships with the community and to promote sharing of information and policing strategies, the statement remarked.

The participants will have meetings with the FBI, Kentucky State Police, Metro Government Office of Performance Initiatives, Louisville Metro Police Department, Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville, and other law enforcement experts.

The first lesson the lebanese senior and high ranking police officials need to learn is to live within their means and on their salaries and do away with the 3 maids they have, the porsches and range rovers, and multiple real estate they own in different parts of the country.

I respect Mr. the-roar for expressing an opinion which simply differs to Mr. Justin's, the philosopher.

May the relevant 'politician' enlighten us as to his opinion on the matter other than its usual trolling vomit?

Thumb the_roar 17 January 2017, 15:47

My humble opinion is posted below..but I never give lessons on how people should live according to my standards as if I'm some philosopher.

Thumb Puppet 17 January 2017, 16:27

Mr. the_roar has quickly earned my respect for never giving lessons on how people should live even if he refers to them as philosophers.

How about you try respecting yourself first, ice-terr-norma?

Your old lame ways are so cringe material.

Maybe if you learn to respect yourself you might get a life outside of naharnet..

Thumb Puppet 17 January 2017, 17:19

My respect and admiration for Mr. the_roar have grown exponentially over the years for asking me to respect myself along with ice-terr-norma.

Thumb the_roar 17 January 2017, 15:40

Because I express an opinion which differs to your paid agenda, it makes me a troll?

lol, you truly embrace free speech, don't you?

Try to at least hide your paid agenda..it's no longer remotely subtle
