Trump Brands Democrats 'Anti-Israel,' 'Anti-Jewish'
President Donald Trump said Friday that a recent U.S. House of Representatives vote condemning bigotry shows the opposition Democrats have become an "anti-Israel" and "anti-Jewish" party.
"I thought yesterday's vote by the House was disgraceful," Trump told reporters at the White House. "The Democrats have become an anti-Israel party and anti-Jewish party."
The Republican president spoke a day after the vote on a resolution originally intended to condemn anti-Semitism following controversial comments by Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar that instead became a broader anti-hate measure.

In February, Omar responded to a tweet from journalist Glenn Greenwald, who posted about House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy threatening to punish Omar and another congresswoman for being critical of Israel.
Omar wrote back, "It's all about the Benjamins baby," a line about $100 bills from a Puff Daddy song. Critics jumped on the tweet and said Omar was calling up a negative and harmful stereotype of Jewish Americans.
In another tweet soon after, Omar named the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, saying it was funding Republican support for Israel.

Trump sure knows how to mess with the Democrats. Here he's acknowledging the truth of Omar's charge, even if she's walked away from it as they say on Madison Ave., and "doubling down" on it by saying Congress should shut her up lest their economic interests be interfered with. And now she said Obama smiled as he assassinated Osama, even while Trump is trying to do the same to her, only with words. But politics is war by words.

But you're right, SOS (Brillo's main competitor), Trump is also ripping up the Republican party. He's Dennis the Menace. MAD magazine had a cartoon once showing Dennis grown up and addressing the UN: "I've solved hunger and disease, ended the wars, and stuck wads of chewing gum in all your seats." Got the same hairstyle. Not an entirely misspent youth, Trump's and mine.
