Kremlin says focused on 'serious' ways to reach Ukraine peace

The Kremlin said Monday it was focused on "serious" ways to achieve long-term peace with Ukraine, but did not comment on Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky's invitation for a personal meeting with Vladimir Putin.
"We are focused on a serious search for ways to achieve a long-term peaceful settlement," Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, without offering a response to Zelensky's call to meet Putin at Russian-proposed talks in Istanbul on Thursday.
