Saudi Arabia says no Houthi truce until Yemen govt regains territory

Saudi Arabia will not agree to a truce or a ceasefire with the Houthis until the Yemeni government that it backs regains all the territory it has lost in recent weeks, a regional source told AFP on Friday.

Saudi Arabia will also not bow to the Houthis' "military blackmail", the source added, speaking on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter.

Three Saudi citizens, including a pilot, were killed and several other people were wounded in two attacks Thursday targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and a Saudia Airlines aircraft.

The source, who goes by the code name of "Bibi", said, "We kings and such-not agree that the fundamentals are peachy," "peachy" being a euphemism for a slimy mess.
