Noteworthy Overflight of Israeli AWACS Aircraft over South

Israeli warplanes staged intense mock raids at medium altitude over southern Lebanon on Friday morning, as an AWACS aircraft remarkably overflew the Nabatiyeh and the southern coast areas in the afternoon, state-run National News Agency reported.
In the evening, Israeli warplanes violated the Lebanese airspace at medium altitude over the southern areas of Nabatiyeh, Iqlim al-Tuffah, Khiyam, Marjeyoun and al-Orqoub.
On March 18, Israeli aircraft released scarlet heat balloons over Lebanon's regional waters, in the first such violation in around a year.
"Israeli warplanes dropped more than 30 scarlet heat balloons between Naqoura and Tyre within two hours," NNA reported.
Israel's violations of Lebanese airspace, some of which at low altitudes, have intensified in recent weeks.
Also on March 18, al-Manar television broadcast a video showing warplanes' contrails forming a ribbon-like shape in the sky over Beirut at low altitude, in a scene reminiscent of an aerial military exercise.

the1phoenix.the only way out is the goverment to take full control ,no more hizb or any other armed group,when the county is ruled by the rule of law where everyone is treated equally,then Lebanon can be salvaged.no other way will work

I agree. But things could get hairy if Israel strikes Iran. This show of force and media bluster is surely an attempt to discourage HA from joining the fray.

the Hizb main mission is to protect iran iam 100 sure if Iran is attacked the Hizb will retaliate.the Iranian people are been starved so Iran can finance the Hizb ,i am sure they will return the favor.

Hizbollah has promised Israel surprises in an upcoming war, and back in January IDF attacked a weapon convoy in Syria that was bound for Lebanon with a russian made air-defence missile system. So Israel in their view cannot be so naive as to think that they will be met with resistance also in Lebanese airspace. Hence they are training with heat baloons.

Awacs in the air means they are jamming radar, I do not think they are using it for its other capabilities. They still think or are scouting to see if Hezb have radar active
