Inmate May be Involved in OJ Case

A documentary about an inmate on Florida's death row says the convicted killer might have been involved in the 1994 murder of O.J. Simpson's ex-wife and her friend, a case that was called "the trial of the century" in the U.S.

The Investigation Discovery show, "My Brother the Serial Killer," will air Wednesday. The film is a look at Glen Rogers, who was convicted by a Florida jury in 1997 for killing a woman. Rogers was also convicted of murder in California and is a suspect in homicides in several other states.

Sylvester Stallone's 16-year-old daughter Sophia-Rose will be among the 21 young women stepping out at the debutantes' ball in Paris this weekend, organisers said on Monday.

Taking place at the glitzy Crillon Hotel on Saturday, the ball will also draw the daughter of U.S. actress Rosanna Arquette, 18-year-old Zoe-Bleu Sidel, as well as Lily Rivkin, 17, daughter of the U.S. ambassador to France Charles Rivkin.

San Francisco to Vote on Public Nudity Ban

San Francisco lawmakers vote Tuesday on a proposal to outlaw most public nudity, despite protests in the famously free and easy West Coast city.

The Board of Supervisors will vote on an ordinance proposed by Scott Wiener, whose Castro neighborhood is a gay haven known also for the Naked Guys, who routinely let it all hang out in public.

Bond Star Visits British Troops in Afghanistan

James Bond actor Daniel Craig on Sunday surprised British servicemen at the Camp Bastion base in Afghanistan when he dropped in for a visit shortly before a screening of his new film "Skyfall".

Craig introduced the film to the 800 troops and then toured the camp, met soldiers and hospital patients before firing off some machine-gun rounds at the heavy weapons range, a Ministry of Defense statement said.

The final chapter of the blockbuster "Twilight" vampire film franchise earned some $138 million in its debut, taking a huge bite out of weekend movie ticket sales, industry estimates showed Sunday.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2," is the fifth and final installment of the wildly popular series based on novels by Stephenie Meyer. The previous four films, starting with the 2008 series opener "Twilight," earned a colossal $2.4 billion altogether.

Charlie Chaplin Hat and Cane Net More Than $62,000

Charlie Chaplin's iconic bowler hat and cane were auctioned off for $62,500 this weekend, as part of an auction which also includes a John Lennon nude drawing of himself and Yoko Ono.

The hat and cane, trademark of Chaplin's Little Tramp character, were in "remarkable condition" and had been estimated to go for between $40,000 and $60,000 at the sale by auction house Bonhams on Sunday. But when it went under the hammer, the sale price hit $62,500 the auctioneers said.
