Mickey Mouse Supports Gay Marriage in Japan

Just days after U.S. President Barack Obama came out in favor of gay marriage, another supporter of homosexual unions emerged in Japan: Mickey Mouse.

Despite their having no legal status, same sex couples are able to hold fairytale wedding ceremonies at hotels inside the popular Tokyo Disney Resort, including at the Cinderella Castle, a company spokeswoman said Tuesday.

Canadian Actress Denies Stalking Alec Baldwin

A little-known Canadian actress on Monday denied stalking "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin, her lawyer saying she had "legitimate" reasons to try to contact him.

"My client had a legitimate purpose within the meaning of the law for her efforts to contact Mr. Baldwin," attorney Maurice Sercarz said after a brief pretrial court hearing attended by the accused, Genevieve Sabourin, in New York.

Bass Player Donald 'Duck' Dunn Dies in Tokyo

Bass player and songwriter Donald "Duck" Dunn, a member of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame band Booker T. and the MGs and the Blues Brothers band, has died in Tokyo. He was 70.

Dunn was in Tokyo for a series of shows. News of his death was posted on the Facebook site of his friend and fellow musician Steve Cropper, who was on the same tour. Cropper said Dunn died in his sleep.
