Al-Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc MP Ahmed Fatfat lashed out at Speaker Nabih Berri, considering him the reason behind the country's political crisis.

Hizbullah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Wednesday that the Palestinian resistance's experience in the most recent conflict with Israel should be studied and evaluated for its “greatness”.

Two rockets were fired from south Lebanon towards the Israeli border on Wednesday evening, a Lebanese security official told Agence France Press.
"Two rockets were fired, one fell in what was clearly Lebanese territory, the other went towards Israel," the official said on condition of anonymity. It was not immediately clear where the second rocket fell.

Former guerrilla in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) George Ibrahim Abdallah was granted parole Wednesday but remained behind bars following an appeal by the state.
Abdallah, who has spent 28 years in French jails, was arrested in 1984 and sentenced to life in prison three years later for his alleged involvement in the 1982 murders of U.S. military attache Charles Robert Ray and Israeli diplomat Yacov Barsimantov.

Palestinian refugees living in Lebanese camps celebrated Wednesday after a bomb ripped through a bus in Tel Aviv injuring 17 people, camp residents told Agence France Presse.
In Nahr al-Bared camp in north Lebanon muezzins sang out words of praise to God via their megaphones, while fireworks lit the sky and fighters handed out sweets, residents said.

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea issued on Wednesday an open letter to Speaker Nabih Berri, condemning the continued parliamentary meetings in light of the 25 assassinations and failed assassination attempts in Lebanon in the past few years.
