iran has thousands of the russian sunburn missiles, they can sink the entire american fleet in the gulf, including the 2 or 3 carriers present there.
they can cut off the biggest supply of oil in the world (all the region's oil goes through the gulf)
they can hit all american bases around iran, and there are dozens of bases, from saudi, to qatar, to iraq, to afghanistan, to azerbaijian etc...
and you're telling me they're all relying on HA's few thousand men and relatively small missiles?
sadly no, because if they are absorbed in the army then secrecy cannot be maintained anymore. in HA each team only knows where their own supplies are hidden, no one knows where all the caches are, presumably not even nasrallah. can you imagine that in a regular army? the second they are included in the national "assets" they have to be listed, referenced, located etc. it takes only 1 traitor, or one hacker, to get all the coords and hit them in a minute.
yes 38 years ago militias drove the country to civil war, because some tried to eradicate the other, or takeover power. HA is not doing that, see my other post, all they want is to be left alone and fight their fight against their only enemy: israel.

and yes 26% is huge, the poll includes the entire arab world, including arabs from regions who are culturally not enclined to be favorable to him, like saudi, or to a lesser extent egypt, or lybia, etc.. while excluding iran, dont forget that.

and that also means that in the areas that do support him (lebanon, palestine, syria) the figure is necessarily way, way, higher.
